Cesenatico was founded in 1302 as the port of the city of Cesena , which is 14 km from the coast.

Since then, Cesenatico has changed a lot, but in many ways not at all.

In any case, Cesenatico has never lost its fishing village atmosphere at the centre of the Adriatic coast.

The charming canal port with its coloured sailing ships and "floating maritime museum" crosses the entire town.

The canal port was designed in 1502 by Leonardo da Vinci and today attracts lots of visitors from all over the world.

Cesenatico is a seaside locality that offers both peace and quiet and the chance to practise lots of sports and spend an unforgettable holiday.
